Working Smarter

With the fervent hope that I can get my technology to work for me and not wrestling with me I’ve set up a mailing list. In this way people can sign up if they want updates and they can also unsubscribe themselves. Although I’m hoping no one could possibly want to unsubscribe, I am a realist. The ultimate goal is to gain more time to paint of course. I managed to squeeze in a watercolor sketch of “Old South Church” in Boston, while holding out for more time to do an oil painting of this scene.

This weekend is the Beacon Hill Art Walk, Sunday from 12-6. I will be located on W. Cedar St. I’m hoping for sunshine, not only to make it a good show but also so that I might get some good photos of the area. Maybe I’ll even get paints out of them in less than a year. This painting was from a photo I took last September. It was a beautiful day, filled with light and warmth. Everyone was enjoying their lunch break outside. The sidewalk vendor was especially busy and seemed to know all his customers well.  If Sunday’s weather is as nice as this day was, it will be a total success. Of course this is New England and as Mark Twain once said “If you don’t like the weather wait a minute”

If you think anyone you know might enjoy these updates, please feel free to share so that they can also subscribe (http://atomic-temporary-128433656.wpcomstaging.com/email/).
